TRUSTEE ROTATION RESULTS

The Ngāi Te Rangi Settlement Trust (NST) and the Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Te Rangi Iwi Trust (TRONIT) Trust Deeds provide for three year terms for trustees.  Each year some trustees are ‘rotated’ meaning they retire from the board to allow their respective hapū/marae communities to review their representation on our iwi boards. Rotating trustees may make themselves available for nomination and other contenders may also be nominated.  Where more than one nomination is received for any hapū/marae community, an election is held. In this most recent rotation, the following hapū representatives have been through the nomination process uncontested and are once again elected as Trustees onto the Ngāi Te Rangi Settlement Trust and the Te Runanga o Ngāi Te Rangi Iwi Trust Boards.
